Well, it looks like Saturday’s going to be a chilly one! We invite you to come in and get warm at The Community Store. We’ll have hot chocolate and cookies to ward off the cold. And don’t forget, local Candle Crafter, Sue Amell, will be demonstrating how she produces candles from 10 am – 1pm.

Everyone’s invited to The Community Store’s First Annual Red Heart Yarn Event on Valentine’s Day, February 14th from 9 am – 6 pm.
The Day will include:
- An Exhibition of Locally Produced Knitwear*
- Special Red Heart Yarn Promotions
- A Beginner’s Knitting Class Workshop from 10 – 11 am
- And Refreshments
* Call for Submissions – We invite local knitters to submit their products for the Exhibition. We’ll include up to ten submissions of hand-knitted items on a First Come, First Serve Basis. Just drop it off at the Store by January 25th. The public will have a chance to vote on their favorite items between Jan. 27th – Feb. 14th and a first and second place winner will be chosen on the 14th.

Just to make everyone aware we are having one night a week that we will have extended hours until 8pm. This Weds, tommorow, we will be open until 8. The next two Thursdays prior to Christmas we will have extended hours until 8pm as well. So, come in, shop around and get those great Christmas gifts!
